Nocturnum - Cal's myosotis

“Nocturnum: Cal’s myosotis" is a narrative-driven 2D pixel RPG set in the eerie, sleep-deprived universe of Nocturnum. This short, psychological escape room-esque game explores themes of memory loss, identity, and the struggle to uncover one’s true self. The player controls Calais, who wakes up in his own room with little recollection of who he is, and must navigate through his surroundings, solving puzzles and gathering clues to access his computer.

The game’s atmosphere is tense and reflective, with an emphasis on storytelling, discovery, and emotional depth. Inspired by games like Omori, Tales of the Black Forest (particularly its soundtrack), and OneShot, the game provides an intimate experience with mechanics that support a story-driven exploration rather than complex gameplay. It is designed to be a short but impactful experience with a focus on narrative and psychological elements.
